Position Summary
We're looking for a dependable, detail-driven Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team. In this role, you'll manage receivables, ensure timely collections, maintain accurate records, and support both internal teams and external customers. The ideal candidate brings solid accounting knowledge, strong communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities
* Monitor customer accounts for outstanding balances and ensure timely collection of payments
* Generate and send invoices, statements, and billing reminders to clients
* Apply payments to customer accounts accurately and in a timely manner
* Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies in a professional and timely manner
* Maintain detailed records of all communications and transactions related to accounts receivable
* Coordinate with internal departments to resolve billing issues and answer client inquiries
* Prepare aging reports and assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings
* Follow up on past-due accounts through phone calls, emails, and collection letters
* Recommend accounts for escalation or external collections when necessary
* Support audits by providing documentation and explanations as required
* Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards

Qualifications
* 5+ years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar accounting role
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes
* Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar)
* Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
* Excellent organizational and time management skills
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
